Adriaan van Niekerk
Adriaan is an admitted attorney, conveyancer and notary and is a director at MacRobert Attorneys in Pretoria. He’s been practising as a commercial attorney for more than 15 years, dealing with litigation, amongst others.
Adriaan is a certified mediator through UCT and has completed various courses in peacemaking, such as Peacemaking Practices through Institute for Christian Conciliation (USA) and Coaching People to Reconcile and Mediating People to Reconcile through Ambassadors of Reconciliation in the USA.
As an attorney he has experienced the ineffective nature of litigation. He has a passion for Christian dispute resolution and believes that Peacemakers can add significant value to Christians and the church in South Africa.
Adriaan is married to Cecile, they have three children and enjoy participating in endurance sports such as running and triathlons.
Johann Dormehl
Johann is a director of Integritas Labour Solutions (Pty) Ltd, an employment relations- and human resources consultancy. He has 15 years’ experience in employment relations, labour law and other human resources functions.
He was previously employed in management positions, where he often confronted others about questionable business practices, but later realized that he had to form his own consultancy to bring about honest and positive change in the workplace.
His consultancy focusses on pro-active assistance to businesses to enable them to overcome the often daunting experiences of managing employment relations, by creating honest expectations between parties, that will result in sound- and productive employment relations and ultimately aligned focus, to enable profitable businesses.
Johann is often involved in resolving employment related disputes and has a passion for resolving such disputes in an honest manner. He completed courses in peacemaking, including Coaching People to Reconcile and Mediating People to Reconcile through Ambassadors of Reconciliation (USA). This made him realize that Christian dispute resolution should be the default avenue for Christians who experience such challenges.
Johann is married to his high school sweetheart, Marlouise and they are blessed with three daughters. He loves running, spending time with family and close friends, enjoys camping and being outdoors.
Vilene Jacobs
Relying on Christ for wisdom and the process of Mediation is the core of Vilene’s family law practice.
Vilene believes that the family unit is the foundation of a healthy society, therefor it is imperative to deal with family dilemmas in a manner that is least destructive.
Vilene has been facilitating mediations of family and divorce matters since 2015. Her qualifications include her master’s degree in Child Law, Mediation certification and training by FAMSA & The Social Justice Foundation and Coaching People to Reconcile and Mediating People to Reconcile through Ambassadors of Reconciliation (USA);
Vilene is married to her best friend Jacques and they are blessed with two teenagers and a late lamb. She enjoys the outdoors, photography, recently started with golf lessons and loves to be inspired by reading biographies of real-life overcomers. Whenever there is an opportunity, she appreciates a good cappuccino and cheerful conversations with friends and family.
